I think the cooking workshop idea works better than the escape room since several team members mentioned they prefer hands-on activities. The space on Harrison Street can accommodate up to twenty five people comfortably and they provide all the ingredients. We would need to confirm dietary requirements ahead of time though. The pricing structure is reasonable for a group of our size and includes both instruction and the meal afterward. Let me know if you want me to reach out to them directly to check available dates. I know Sarah had suggested a Wednesday afternoon but I think Thursday would work better for the remote team members since they have fewer meetings that day. We should also consider whether we want to do this during work hours or extend into early evening. The kitchen has good ventilation and the workstations are spaced well apart. I checked a few reviews and people mentioned the instructors are patient and adapt well to different skill levels which is good for our group since some of us are more experienced cooks than others.

The workshop coordinator mentioned they can accommodate up to twenty eight people but we need to finalize the headcount by next Tuesday so they can prep the ingredient kits. I think we should send out a quick survey to gauge interest and capture any dietary restrictions or allergies. A few people mentioned they have gluten sensitivity and the facility can provide alternative ingredients if notified in advance. The workshop runs about two and a half hours and includes a sit down meal at the end where everyone gets to taste the dishes prepared during the session. I think this will be a good opportunity for the newer team members to interact with everyone in a relaxed setting outside of the usual meeting rooms and video calls.

I looked into the trail conditions for the Ridge Loop and the park service reported that the path is mostly dry with just a few muddy sections near the creek crossing. The full loop is about eight miles with an elevation gain of around twelve hundred feet which should take us roughly four to five hours at a moderate pace. I think we should start early to avoid the afternoon heat and give ourselves plenty of time to enjoy the views from the summit. I will pack snacks and plenty of water for everyone. The parking lot requires a daily pass which can be purchased at the entrance station. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes with good traction since there are some rocky sections near the top. I also checked and they allow dogs on leash so you can bring yours along if you want. The wildflowers should be blooming in the meadow section which will make for a nice photo opportunity. Let me know if you prefer to meet at the trailhead directly or if you want to carpool from my place.

I checked the weather forecast for Saturday and it looks like clear skies with highs in the mid seventies which is ideal for hiking. The trailhead has a decent sized parking area but it tends to fill up by mid morning on weekends so arriving by eight would be wise. There is a portable restroom at the start but no facilities along the route so plan accordingly. The park service also mentioned that the bridge over the lower creek was repaired last month so we do not need to worry about the detour that was necessary earlier this spring. I think the moderate pace will work well for everyone and we can take breaks at the overlook points which have benches and good shade.
