HAPPY SUMMER SPEAKERS

Dear ala,

Welcome to summer! You might think summer is for slowing down but things can really heat up over the summer as everyone gears up for a busy fall.

For speakers: Update your speaker profile, refresh your headshots and bios, review your presentation topics, and start researching fall and winter events now. Many event organizers are already planning conferences for later this year and well into 2027. Make sure your already booked speaking slots are on the calendar.

For event organizers: Take a fresh look at your speaker lineup needs, identify any gaps in expertise or representation, and begin outreach early. The best speakers often book months in advance, and summer can be an ideal time to build your shortlist before the busy fall event season begins.

Podcasters, journalists - we didn't forget about you! Looking for amazing expert sources? Now is a fantastic time to check out Innovation Women's database of speakers and subject matter experts. Our profiles contain links to social media accounts and websites so you can see what our experts are up to.

But also, everyone, remember to take a little time for you too. You've been running hard this year and a little rest can help replenish those creative juices! Plan that summer vacation now.

Bobbie and the Innovation Women team

P.S. Watch for our Summer Reading and Play Lists - coming soon! Many of our members are authors and podcasters, sharing their knowledge and we'll be sharing our recommendations with you.
