 Mark Your Calendars for Pride in Arlington
Arlington County is proud to stand with the LGBTQIA+ community as we begin Pride Month. There are events happening all month long here in Arlington, including:

LGBTQ+ Pride Month Party: Equality Arlington and the National Landing BID are co-sponsoring a Pride Month Party at National Landing Water Park on June 6, with drag performances, music, food and drinks, a LGBTQ+ Resource Fair, and more! (FREE and first-come-first-served; RSVPs encouraged.)

Queer Joy Art Party for Teens: Enjoy snacks, music, crafts, and community — and make your own Pride themed tote bag or hat!

Pride Senior Prom: Calling all LGBTQIA+ adults and allies: come as you are (no date necessary) for an evening of dancing, community, music, and fun on June 12. (See all the Pride events happening at Libraries throughout June!)

Capital Pride in Washington, D.C. takes place from June 12 to June 21, with the parade on June 20 and concert set for June 21.

Spotlight on Freddie’s
Since 2001, Freddie’s has been a safe community space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community to gather for good food, delicious drinks, fun drag shows, and karaoke. This feature video shares more about Freddie’s Beach Bar, what makes it an integral part of Arlington County, and why preserving and recognizing spaces like Freddie’s matters.

 Pride Proclamation
During the County's Pride Month Proclamation Celebration, County Board Chair Matt de Ferranti officially declared June as LGBTQIA+ Pride Month in Arlington, urging everyone to celebrate, learn, and help build a community where everyone belongs.
