Principals’ Corner
As we wrap up another fantastic week, we want to share some wonderful highlights and exciting upcoming events. There is so much energy in our halls as we head into the final stretch of the school year!
Our Pre-K through 3rd-grade students recently had the incredible opportunity to attend an inspiring assembly led by Ada Ari, an author on a mission to promote diversity and inclusion in children’s literature. Ada Ari has been touring the African continent, retelling some of the most loved and shared African folktales in the form of beautifully-illustrated children’s picture books. Our students were completely captivated! During the assembly, they experienced:
- A lively African dance that got everyone moving.
- Interactive geography lessons that brought the continent to life.
- Cultural discovery through hands-on engagement with authentic artifacts.
We extend a massive, heartfelt thank you to our wonderful PTA for sponsoring this unforgettable experience for our young learners!
The educational fun continues next week! We are so excited for our 4th through 6th-grade students to attend a Mad Science assembly next Tuesday. Get ready for some mind-blowing experiments and hands-on scientific discovery that will surely spark their curiosity.
Can you believe the end of the school year is just around the corner? To help our students prepare, everyone attended an assembly today to learn about the local public library's summer reading program. We strongly encourage all of our families to consider participating this year. Keeping up the reading habit over the summer months is one of the absolute best ways to support your child's overall learning. Plus, it's a fantastic, free way to discover new adventures all summer long!
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in making this school year so special. Have a wonderful weekend!
Be the Change,
