Hi, thanks for your note about the kitchen renovation timeline. I think starting the cabinet sanding this weekend makes sense, but we should check the humidity forecast first. If it's too damp, the primer won't adhere well and we'll just be creating more work for ourselves. I already picked up the paint samples you mentioned—the warm ivory and the soft sage—and honestly both look really nice with the countertop. I'm leaning toward the sage because it adds a bit of depth without making the room feel smaller. We'll need to tape off all the trim and remove the hardware before we begin. I can bring my orbital sander and a shop vac to keep the dust down. Let me know if you want me to grab extra drop cloths or a longer extension ladder for the upper cabinets. I should be free both Saturday and Sunday, so we can take our time and do it right.

Regarding your question about the hiking route for next month, I think the Ridgeline Trail is the best option for our group because it offers moderate elevation gain and several shaded rest areas. I mapped out the distance last night and it comes to about 6.8 miles round trip, which should take us around four hours with breaks. The trailhead has a decent sized parking area and there is a pit toilet at the start. I plan to bring extra water and a filter in case we need to refill at the creek crossing. The weather that time of year is usually mild, but I will pack a light rain jacket just in case. If anyone in the group has limited mobility, there is an alternative loop that is only 2.3 miles and mostly flat. Let me know if you want me to coordinate the carpool arrangements and send out a group message with the meeting time.
