I think the best approach for the garden layout would be to group the tomatoes with basil and marigolds since they support each other well. The cucumbers should go near the corn but keep them away from the sage. You might want to put the peppers on the sunniest side of the plot because they need the most direct light throughout the day. The trellis system for the beans can go along the north edge so they don't shade the smaller plants. I found that rotating the beds each season really helps with soil health and pest management over time.

I think the key is to have a clear schedule posted a week ahead so everyone knows what to expect. We should assign different people to handle specific tasks rather than trying to manage everything as a group. The venue rental allows us to set up the evening before which gives us plenty of time to arrange the space. Having a sign-up sheet for refreshments would spread the responsibility across more households. I can coordinate the setup team if someone else handles the cleanup plan. The feedback from last time suggested we need better signage for directions.
