We finished installing the new shelving units in the garage last weekend. They are sturdy and hold all the bins we had stacked on the floor. The lighting fixture we ordered arrived yesterday and looks much better than the old one. I still need to pick up a few more hooks for the tools. The weather this week has been pleasant enough to work outside. I trimmed the hedge along the driveway and planted the lavender near the patio. It should attract more bees and butterflies once it settles in. If you have time this weekend, we could compare notes on the compost setup you mentioned.

We decided to repaint the dining room a soft sage green instead of the gray we picked last month. The sample looked much warmer once it was on the wall. I still need to pick up a new set of curtains and maybe a small rug. The trim will stay white to keep the room feeling bright. If you want to see the color swatch, I can bring it by later this week.
The book club meeting has been moved to Thursday evening because a few members had conflicts on Wednesday. We are discussing the last two chapters, so please finish those before coming.
