Hey, I finally got around to organizing the garage this weekend. It took way longer than I expected, mostly because I kept finding old photo albums and just sitting there flipping through them. There were some pictures from that trip we took to the coast, remember? It feels like a lifetime ago. The weather was perfect every single day. We had that little rental house right by the beach. Anyway, I managed to clear out a ton of space and set up a proper workbench. I've been wanting to get into woodworking, just small projects really. Maybe a new shelf for the living room or a little stand for the plants. I'll send you a picture when I finish something that doesn't look completely lopsided. Hope you're having a good week so far.

Anyway, it's nice to finally have a dedicated space to tinker around. I spent most of Sunday just sorting screws and nails into little jars, which felt oddly satisfying. There's something calming about putting things in order. Let me know what you've been up to when you get a chance.

So I tried that new coffee shop downtown this morning. I've been meaning to go for weeks, but the timing never worked out. It's tucked away on a side street, kind of easy to miss. The interior is super cozy, with a lot of exposed brick and these really comfortable armchairs. I ordered a pour-over and a pastry, and ended up staying for almost two hours just reading. They were playing some old jazz records, which was a nice touch. The barista was really friendly and knew a lot about the different beans they had. I think I found my new weekend spot. Let me know if you want to check it out sometime. We could grab a cup and catch up properly. It's been too long.

I also finally watched that documentary everyone was recommending last month. It was really well done, though some parts were pretty intense. I ended up going down a rabbit hole reading about the making of it afterwards. Anyway, let me know what you think about the coffee place. I'm free most Saturday mornings.
