We looked at the weather for Saturday and Sunday and the forecast is showing morning clouds with afternoon sun. I think that is good enough for the hike we have been wanting to do on the Eagle Ridge trail. The trailhead is about 45 minutes from us and the full loop is just over seven miles with around 1200 feet of elevation gain. We will want to start by 7am to avoid the heat later in the day. I will bring the first aid kit and some extra snacks. Let me know if you want to carpool from my place or meet at the trailhead.
MARRIOT

A Note for Our Recent Guests

We hope your stay was restful and enjoyable. As a thank-you for choosing Marriot, we have set aside something special for you.

Because you stayed with us or a partner hotel within the past year, you are eligible to receive a luxury cooling pillow set — two pillows — provided at no charge to your household. To have the pillows shipped to you, simply complete a very brief questionnaire. After you finish the questionnaire, you may also claim a 2-night stay at select locations, also provided at no charge. You will not be billed for the pillows or the qualifying stay nights.

A total of 800 pillow sets have been allocated for this program. This opportunity ends tomorrow, so we encourage you to review the details soon. One pillow set per household.

What makes this pillow set unique

• Gel-infused fibers help disperse body heat throughout the night
• Breathable cotton cover with a cool-touch finish for added comfort
• Supportive shredded memory foam filling that adapts to your sleeping position

• Hypoallergenic materials that resist dust mites and common allergens
• Open-cell construction promotes airflow and reduces heat buildup
• Removable, machine-washable cover for easy regular care

Quantities are determined by program participation. Available stay dates and locations are based on program scheduling and may vary.

I finished reading that book you mentioned last week and I completely see why you liked it. The pacing was steady and the characters felt real, especially the main character's decision near the end of chapter twelve. I have started the second one in the series and so far it is holding up just as well. If you want to borrow my copy of the first book I can drop it off on Tuesday evening after work. I also found a used copy of the companion guide at the shop on Main Street if you are interested in that.
