Yeah I finally tried that new recipe you sent over the weekend. It came out pretty well actually. I was a little skeptical about the seasoning blend but it worked surprisingly well with the roasted vegetables. I ended up adding a bit more garlic than called for because you know me. The sauce reduction took longer than expected though maybe twenty minutes extra. Next time I think I will prep everything the night before to save time. The leftovers held up nicely too which is always a win. I might double the recipe next time so we have extra for lunches during the week. I have been meaning to tell you about that book I finished last week. It was completely different from what I expected in the best way possible. The writing style took a chapter or two to get used to but once I settled into it I could not put it down. The characters felt really layered and the way the author wove together the different timelines was impressive. There is one section near the middle that completely shifted my perspective on the whole story. I ended up rereading a few passages because they were so thoughtfully crafted. If you are looking for something that makes you think without being overly heavy this might be a good pick. I borrowed it from the library but I am honestly considering buying my own copy to annotate. Let me know if you want me to send you the title.
