Oh, I forgot to tell you about the garden project. I finally pulled out those old shrubs over the weekend. It took way longer than I expected because the roots were so tangled. I ended up having to use a hand saw for some of them. My arms are still sore today. Anyway, I prepped the soil and put in some new lavender plants along with a few ornamental grasses. It already looks ten times better. Next up is figuring out the pathway. I saw some nice stepping stones at the local hardware store. I might grab a few next week.
