Thanks for your note about the community garden layout. I think we should go with raised beds this year because the soil in the back corner drains too slowly for root vegetables. The south side gets full sun so that is where the tomatoes and peppers should go. I checked the frost dates and we are clear after May 10. I can bring the soil amendment mix on Saturday morning if that works for you. We will need about three cubic yards of compost to get everything started properly. Let me know what you think about the herb placement near the walkway.

I looked into the scheduling conflict for the volunteer meeting next week. Tuesday afternoon is still open on my end and the conference room on the second floor is available from 2 to 4. We should finalize the agenda by Monday so everyone can prep. I think we need about 45 minutes for the main discussion and then 30 minutes for breakout groups. The projector in that room works with HDMI so bring your laptop if you plan to present. I will send out the sign-up sheet later today.
