I was just thinking about that hiking trip we took last summer. The trail up to the ridge was tough but the view from the top made it all worthwhile. I still remember how the light hit the valley floor right before sunset. Anyway, I finally got around to organizing those photos from the trip. I'll send you the album link once I finish editing a few of them. Let me know when you're free to grab coffee next week. I've been meaning to ask about your garden project and how those tomato plants turned out. Mine produced way more than I expected this year actually. I ended up making sauce with most of them and froze a bunch for the winter. The basil I planted next to them really helped with flavor. We should swap gardening tips sometime soon. The weather has been perfect for getting outside and working in the yard.

You know that documentary series I mentioned a while back about coastal ecosystems? I finally binge-watched the whole thing over the weekend. The cinematography was stunning especially the episodes shot in the Pacific Northwest. Some of the interviews really stayed with me especially the ones about local conservation efforts. I ended up ordering the companion book because I wanted to dive deeper into the research behind the series. If you're looking for something to watch I'd definitely recommend adding it to your list. It gave me a whole new perspective on marine habitats and how interconnected everything really is. Let me know what you think if you check it out. I'd be curious to hear your take on the episode about tide pools and the creatures that live there.
