I was just thinking about what you mentioned the other day about starting a small herb garden on the balcony. I finally did some research and apparently basil, mint, and chives are really easy to grow even in small containers. I found a great little set of ceramic pots at the home goods store that would look perfect on the windowsill. Also, the farmer's market downtown has been selling starter plants on weekends so we could check that out together if you're free. Let me know if you'd like to go this Saturday morning or maybe Sunday instead. I'm pretty much free all weekend. I also heard the library has a seed exchange program which is pretty neat and totally free to join. Anyway, just wanted to share that with you since we talked about it a few weeks ago and I finally got around to looking into it. Hope you're doing well and we can catch up soon.

So I finally tried that new coffee shop on Main Street that you recommended and it was really good. The pour-over was excellent and they had this amazing cinnamon roll that was still warm when they brought it out. I ended up staying for almost two hours just reading and relaxing by the window. Also, I checked out the book you suggested and I'm really enjoying it so far - the writing style is very engaging and the characters feel really authentic and well-developed. I think you'd also like another book I just finished about a family road trip through several national parks, it had a similar warmth to it. Let me know if you want to borrow it sometime. Oh, and the weather is supposed to be nice this weekend so maybe we can plan a hike on that trail we've been talking about. I'll text you later to figure out details.
