Hey, thanks for the note about the hiking trail. I actually ended up going last weekend. The weather was perfect, not too hot, and the views from the top were incredible. I brought a picnic and just sat there for an hour. You were right about the parking situation though—I had to park a mile away. Next time I'll go earlier. Let me know if you want to hit it together sometime. I'm free most Saturday mornings. There's a coffee shop on the way I've been wanting to try. I heard they have amazing sourdough pastries. Anyway, talk soon! Let's plan something for next month. I'll text you the details once my schedule settles down a bit.

Oh, I finally tried that pasta recipe you sent me last month. It turned out better than expected, though I completely forgot to buy fresh basil so I used dried. Still tasted great. I added some roasted cherry tomatoes and a little bit of lemon zest. The whole family loved it, even my picky eater who usually just pushes things around on their plate. I served it with a simple side salad and some garlic bread. I'm definitely making it again next week. Let me know if you have any other weeknight dinner ideas. I'm trying to cook more at home instead of ordering takeout. Thanks again for suggesting it! Let me know if you want to come over for dinner sometime soon.
