Dear Thoreau Families,

It is hard to believe that we have reached the last weekend of the 2025–26 school year! Our students have given us so much to celebrate. From academic milestones and athletic victories to creative breakthroughs on stage and innovative clubs, they have spent this year pushing boundaries, learning new skills, and making lasting connections. As you reflect on your child’s experiences over the past year, please know how proud we are of their hard work and dedication.

End-of-Year Celebrations & Important Reminders

This upcoming week, we will continue celebrating with our 7th-grade team parties on Monday and Tuesday morning, as well as our annual 8th-grade party on Tuesday afternoon.

A huge thank you to our dedicated PTA volunteers—and especially to Cindy Chang for her incredible leadership—for all of their hard work in making the 8th-grade party a success. Students can look forward to dancing, field games, a photo booth, the opportunity to soak the staff in our Splash Tower, pizza, snacks, and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream!
