I just saw that new documentary everyone’s talking about. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect because the trailer was a bit vague. But it turned out to be really engaging. The cinematography was stunning and the interviews felt genuine. My favorite part was the section about the old railway station. I think you’d enjoy it too — especially the way they tied everything back to the opening scene. Let me know if you want me to send you the link. We could watch it together this weekend if you’re free. I’ve been meaning to catch up anyway.
Also, I finally tried baking sourdough from scratch. The first attempt was a disaster — too dense. But the second one came out pretty good. I added some rosemary and sea salt on top. It paired nicely with the tomato soup I made. I’m thinking of experimenting with different flours next time. Maybe spelt or rye. Have you ever tried that? I’d love to hear your tips if you have any.

Hey, I was looking through old photos last night and found that shot from the hiking trip. Remember how we got lost for like an hour? It was actually a blessing in disguise because we discovered that hidden waterfall. I’ve been thinking we should plan another trip soon, maybe somewhere with less elevation gain this time. My knees are still not what they used to be. But I’d love to go again if you’re up for it. Let me know what weekend works for you. Also, I finally organized my bookshelf by color — it looks ridiculous but also kind of beautiful. Not sure if I’ll keep it that way though. My partner says it’s impractical.
