I actually just got back from picking up a few things at the store. The lines were not bad at all compared to last weekend. I went around 10am and it was smooth the whole way through. The parking lot had plenty of spaces which never happens on a Saturday. I grabbed some of those fresh tortellini you mentioned last time and will try them for dinner tonight. I also found a nice throw blanket on clearance that matched the living room perfectly. My sister called while I was checking out and she said the weather has been beautiful up north. She sent a photo of the leaves changing already. I need to plan a weekend trip to see her before it gets too cold. Anyway, just wanted to share that quick update. I finished that book you recommended and honestly couldn't put it down for the last hundred pages. The plot twist around chapter twenty completely caught me off guard. I started reading it on the train last Tuesday and before I knew it I had missed my stop and had to double back. The character development was really well done especially the way the author wove in those small details early on that paid off later. I already ordered the next one in the series from the library. The hold list is pretty long so it might be a few weeks before I get my hands on it. My neighbor mentioned she read it last summer and said the second one is even better. I have a long flight coming up for a family thing so I am hoping it arrives by then. Anyway thanks again for the suggestion. Let me know if you come across anything else worth reading.
