Yeah I totally see what you mean about that documentary. The first half really pulled me in but somewhere around the middle it started to drag a bit. I think they could have trimmed fifteen minutes and it would have been much tighter. Have you watched any of the director's earlier stuff? I remember seeing his short film at a festival a couple of years ago and the visual style was already there but the storytelling felt more focused. Anyway I'd love to grab coffee this week and chat more about it. There is also that new exhibit opening at the modern art museum that might be worth a look if you are free on Saturday. Hey thanks for the recommendation about that new Italian place downtown. We finally tried it last night and the carbonara was incredible. The service was a little slow but the ambiance really made up for it. I would suggest making a reservation if you go on a weekend because it fills up fast. Also the tiramisu is absolutely worth saving room for. Let me know if you want to check out that other spot next week I heard their seafood platter is excellent.
