Regarding the tile selection for the bathroom, I think the matte finish is the better option. It provides a more modern look and hides water spots well. We should also consider the grout color carefully. Light gray would complement the walls nicely without showing too much wear. I can pick up samples from the store this weekend so we can see them in the actual lighting. Let me know if you also want to look at lighting fixtures for the vanity area.
