I was just thinking about that time we tried to fix the old bookshelf. It ended up being a much bigger project than we expected. I remember we had all the tools laid out on the floor and then realized half the screws were missing. Anyway, I finally finished painting the spare room last weekend and it looks so much better now. The color turned out exactly like the swatch which rarely happens. You should come over and see it sometime. I also started reading that novel you recommended and I can't put it down. The characters are so well written and the plot keeps twisting in ways I didn't expect. Have you read anything else by that author? I might look for more after this one. Let me know if you want to borrow any of my books. I've been collecting quite a stack lately. Oh and I finally tried that pasta recipe you sent me and it was delicious. I added a bit more garlic than it called for but that never hurts. The leftovers were even better the next day which is always a good sign. I might make it again next week.

Hey I was just thinking about our conversation from last week regarding the garden project. I ended up going with the lavender plants instead of the roses and they are already starting to bloom. The bees love them which is exactly what I was hoping for. I also put in some mint and basil along the side. I tried that new coffee shop downtown and their cold brew is fantastic. You should check it out when you get a chance. I also finished setting up the new patio furniture and it looks great out there. We should plan a get together soon before the weather changes. I think it starts in a few weeks and I remember you mentioning you wanted to learn more about landscape shots.
