I finally started painting the living room this weekend, and I have to say, choosing the right shade of off-white was way harder than I anticipated. I must have gone through fifteen samples before settling on one that didn't look too yellow or too gray in the afternoon light. The transformation is incredible, though. I ended up having to call in a favor from a friend who actually knows what they are doing with wiring. Anyway, we are almost done, and it is starting to look like a completely different house.
