Hey, thanks for the note! Yeah, I finally got around to organizing that bookshelf over the weekend. It only took me a few hours but it feels like a completely different room now. I actually found a couple of old notebooks I thought I lost years ago. I spent most of Sunday just flipping through them and getting completely distracted by old notes and sketches. Anyway, LGhInMLZbBsaez let me know if you want to borrow any of the ones I pulled out. I think you would really like that sci-fi anthology I mentioned. It covers a lot of ground but stays pretty accessible throughout. Hope you are having a great week so far! Let's catch up properly soon.

So I tried making sourdough from scratch this week and it actually turned out way better than I expected! The first rise took forever because my kitchen is a bit cold but I just let it sit overnight and it worked out fine. I added a little rosemary and sea salt on top before baking and the whole house smelled amazing. I am definitely going to try a different flour blend next time though. Rye might be interesting. Anyway just thought I would share since you are the one who got me into baking. Hope you are doing well! Let me know if you have any other recipes you think I should try.
