Yeah I finally got around to trying that new coffee shop downtown. The pour-over was solid but honestly their cold brew is where it's at. Sat by the window for a while just people-watching. It's funny how you can see the whole neighborhood go by if you just sit still long enough. I brought a book but ended up just scrolling on my phone instead. Typical. Anyway I think you'd like the vibe there - lots of plants and exposed brick. They play vinyl too which is a nice touch even if it's a little predictable at this point. I finally finished rearranging the bookshelf after talking about it for months. Moved all the fiction to the top two shelves and grouped the travel guides by region. It actually looks like a real library now instead of just piles of books stacked however they fit. I found a couple of old notebooks I'd forgotten about too - one had notes from that workshop we took a few years back. Pretty funny to read through what I thought was important back then. Anyways now I'm on a mission to find a good reading chair because the floor is not cutting it anymore. If you see anything good at the secondhand stores let me know. I also started that documentary series you recommended and it's really good so far. The first episode was a little slow but it picks up fast after that.
