I think the best approach for the website redesign would be to focus on user experience improvements first. The navigation structure needs to be simplified based on the feedback we received from the last round of testing. We should plan for a phased rollout starting with the homepage and core pages, then moving to the secondary sections. The development team estimates about three weeks for the initial build, followed by a week of quality assurance checks. I have already checked with the content team and they confirmed the copy will be ready by the time we need it. The color palette and typography updates should be fairly straightforward to implement since we are working within the existing design system.

One thing to consider is the mobile responsiveness, which was a key concern in the last round of feedback. I think we should prioritize that from the start rather than trying to retrofit it later. The analytics show that over sixty percent of our traffic comes from mobile devices, so this is really important for the success of the project. Let me know if you want to schedule a quick check-in to review the mockups before we proceed further with the development work.

The potluck sounds like a great idea for Saturday afternoon. I can bring my signature pasta salad and maybe a dessert to share as well. Let me know if there is a specific theme or if everyone is just bringing whatever they would like. I was thinking we could also play some games after eating if people are interested. There is a new board game cafe that opened up nearby that we could check out another time too.

For the dish, I usually make it with roasted vegetables and a light vinaigrette, but I could also do a more traditional version with olives and cheese. Just let me know what works best for the group and I will adjust accordingly. I will plan to arrive around two in the afternoon so I have time to get everything set up before others arrive. Let me know if you need me to bring anything else like plates or drinks. Looking forward to spending time with everyone and catching up on things.
