Hey, thanks for your note. I totally get what you mean about the weekend plans—I’ve been meaning to try that new hiking trail near the lake. I heard it’s about three miles out and back with some really nice views along the ridge. A friend of mine went last Saturday and said the wildflowers are still blooming, which is surprising for this late in the season. I’m thinking of going on Sunday morning if the weather holds. If you want to join, let me know—I can bring snacks and extra water. Also, I finally finished that book you recommended. It took me a while to get into it, but by the third chapter I was hooked. The really interesting twist came out of nowhere. I’ll pass it along to you next time we meet. Maybe we can grab coffee after the hike and talk about it. Let me know what works for you. Pmhf9yKJELEn

Oh, I see what you mean about the recipe. I tried something similar last week and it turned out surprisingly well. I used a bit more garlic than called for and added some sun-dried tomatoes toward the end. The key is to let it simmer on low for at least twenty minutes so the flavors really meld together. We served it over rice with a side salad. Everyone loved it, even the picky eater. If you want, I can send you the exact modifications I made. Also, I finally replaced the old kitchen faucet. It was a pain to install but totally worth it. The new one has a pull-down sprayer and it makes washing big pots so much easier. Anyway, let me know if you try that recipe and how it goes. I’m always looking for new ideas.
