Domestic Tourism Statistics March quarter 2026

Domestic tourism results provide statistics on how Australian residents travelled nationally or by state or territory. Domestic tourism results remained stable in the March quarter 2026 when compared to the March quarter 2025.

In the March quarter 2026, Australian residents took 28.9 million overnight trips and 71.2 million day trips, spending $42.8 billion.
