Oh, that reminds me - I finally found a good rhythm for the morning walk. It takes about 35 minutes and ends right as the sun comes up. The air smells like wet grass and somebody's barbecue from last night. I tried tracking my pace but the phone battery died halfway. Anyway, I think I'll just keep it casual. Let me know if you want to join some day, but I understand if morning isn't your thing.

Also, I picked up that book you mentioned last week. So far it's a bit slow but the writing is really crisp. I'm only fifty pages in, but I like the main character's voice. Not sure if I'll finish it before the library return date. Might just buy my own copy.

Anyway, that's all from me. Hope your week is going okay. Talk soon.

I was just thinking about that conversation we had about the garden project. I finally cleared the overgrown patch behind the shed. Took most of a Saturday and a lot of patience. The soil is actually decent - dark and crumbly once I pulled out the weeds. I'm planning to plant some herbs and maybe a tomato vine. Nothing too ambitious, just something to enjoy in the summer.

Also, I tried that new coffee place downtown. They do a pour‑over that's surprisingly smooth. Not as strong as what I make at home, but a nice change. The barista recommended a Kenyan roast that I might order online.

Hey, let me know if you ever want to borrow the pressure washer. It's just sitting in my garage. I used it once last spring and it worked great.
