Thanks for your note about the weekend plans. I think Saturday afternoon could work really well if we aim to meet around 2 pm at the park near the oak grove. The weather is supposed to be mild and partly cloudy, which should be pleasant for a short walk afterward. I wanted to double-check whether anyone in the group has specific preferences about the trail route we usually take or if they would prefer a shorter loop this time. I can bring a few blankets and some snacks if that helps make things more comfortable. Let me know if you think we should also reserve one of the picnic tables in advance, just in case it gets busier than expected. I can call the park office to check availability. Also, I will confirm with Mike whether he can join, since he mentioned he might have an appointment that afternoon. I will send an update by Thursday evening so we can finalize everything.

I wanted to follow up on the question you asked about the community garden schedule for next month. The planning committee decided to rotate the watering duties on a weekly basis rather than daily, since several members expressed concern about overlapping commitments. I think this approach will work well because it gives each person a full week to manage their assigned section without feeling rushed. The garden coordinator mentioned that the soil preparation for the new raised beds should be finished by the middle of the month, which means we can start planting the cold-tolerant vegetables shortly after. If you would like to be assigned to a specific bed, please send me a note with your preference and I will add it to the rotation chart. I will also send out a reminder a few days before your week begins so you can plan accordingly. Let me know if you have any questions about the schedule or if you would like to swap weeks with another volunteer.
