Yeah I think the campsite at Pine Ridge would work better for us since it has more shaded spots and the trail access is right there. We should aim to get there by Friday afternoon if possible because the good sites fill up quick on weekends. I checked the forecast and it looks clear but I will bring the tarp just in case. Let me know if you want to bring your kayak because there is a put-in about half a mile from the campground. I was thinking we could do the loop trail on Saturday and then just relax by the fire in the evening. The fire ring at site 12 is really nice and has a good cooking grate. I will bring the cast iron skillet and we can do breakfast tacos one morning. Let me know what you think about the dates.

I finally got around to sorting through all the boxes in the garage and found some old camping gear we should definitely keep. The shelving unit from the hardware store arrived yesterday and it went together pretty easily. I put the holiday decorations on the top shelves and then arranged the tools on the middle ones. The bins I ordered are stackable so they fit nicely underneath the workbench. I still need to mount the pegboard for the smaller hand tools but that can wait until next weekend. The whole project took about four hours total including labeling everything with the label maker. I was surprised at how much stuff we had accumulated that we really do not need anymore. I set aside a pile for donation and another for recycling. Let me know if you want to look through the donation stuff before I drop it off.
