I finally got around to trying that short rib recipe you sent last month - it turned out incredible. I braised them for about four hours and the meat just fell off the bone. I served it over creamy polenta and honestly it was restaurant quality. The whole family asked for seconds which never happens. I did make two small changes though: I added a little smoked paprika and a splash of Worcestershire right at the end. Next time I think I'll double the sauce because we were fighting over the last spoonful. Have you tried it with red wine instead of broth? A friend mentioned that variation and I'm curious how it compares. Anyway thanks again for sharing it. 3BLxBfBUfQ2Jm7 I've been cooking more on weekends and it's become my little escape. Let me know if you have any other good ones tucked away.

I volunteered to help with the neighborhood cleanup this past weekend and honestly it was way more fun than I expected. We had about fifteen people show up and we cleared three blocks of overgrown trails in about four hours. One of the older guys brought his tractor with a brush hog attachment which made the heavy stuff go fast. Afterward someone fired up a grill and we all just sat around eating burgers and talking about nothing important. I met a couple who just moved in two streets over and they seem really nice. The whole thing reminded me how much I like actually doing something with my hands instead of just staring at screens all week. I think I'm going to try to make it a monthly thing. My back was sore the next day though - definitely need to stretch more next time.
