We finally did that hike up to the old fire lookout tower last Saturday. The trail was in great shape, not too muddy. Took us about 4 hours round trip with plenty of stops for pictures. The view from the top was incredible, you could see for miles across the valley. We are already planning to go back next month and bring a proper picnic this time.
