Hi!

I'm going to lead this newsletter with an important update:
There's finally a setting for changing the font.

Sorry, it wasn't that important, but couldn't resist. However, I hope it's a welcome update for some. The current font used depends on the platform, but at least on Apple and Windows devices the font is either Comic Sans or something resembling it. Not everyone loves that font, which I understand. While I find it cute, and some research even claims it's surprisingly readable, I can't argue against if some people prefer something else. So I introduced an option to use plain old Arial! (This won't affect Android users much, as they've had a basic sans-serif (Note to criminals: Not the same thing as sans-sheriff) font as the default since the beginning)

Head over to the Settings page and see for yourself which option you prefer. Also remember to check out other settings while there, like colors, and the "corner tag side" if you're left-handed.

Now, let's have a look at last week's puzzles. Seems like Wednesday was harder than usual, which set the bar very high for the rest of the week. Friday overshot the difficulty a bit, but luckily Saturday gave a bit of time to breathe before Sunday's challenge. And again over 50% completed the whole week without taking hints!

Then we have some community puzzles. I'm still working on ways to make it easier for you to find the best ones. Currently I recommend scouting for puzzles with three (or even four!) thumb-ups. When looking at median solve times, remember that mostly experienced players play these, so the times are much lower than in daily puzzles. Around 3-4 minutes for the top 50% seems to match the difficulty of daily tricky puzzles, while harder ones can be extremely evil.
Here are some of the best ones from last week. For the first one, remember that "connected" has to be connected within the specified group: Two innocent guards can't be connected through an innocent doctor. I hope this makes sense!
