Anyway, I ended up taking the dog for a longer walk this morning than I planned. The weather was finally decent, so we went around the park twice instead of once. I ran into a neighbor who was also out, and we chatted for a bit about the new coffee shop that opened on Main Street. I said I'd try it this weekend. I also need to pick up a few things at the hardware store, but that can wait until later. So I tried that new Thai place you recommended last night, and it was fantastic. The pad thai had just the right amount of spice, and the spring rolls were crispy. I'm definitely going back. I also finally fixed the leaky faucet in the bathroom after watching a couple of tutorials online. It took longer than I expected, but it's done now. Had a quiet evening afterward, just reading and drinking tea. Speaking of reading, I'm halfway through a biography on Frida Kahlo, and it's really inspiring. Let me know if you want to borrow it.
