We are still figuring out the best weekend for the garden workday. Saturday the 15th seems to work best for most people based on the poll I sent around. We will need about 8 volunteers for the morning session to get the raised beds prepped and the soil turned. The afternoon session will focus on planting the tomatoes peppers and herbs. I will bring the basic tools but if anyone has extra shovels or gardening gloves that would help. We should also plan for a quick lunch break around noon so please bring something to share if you can. I will send out a reminder a few days before with the exact schedule and what to bring.
Also wanted to confirm that the shed key is with Maria in case we need access to the watering cans and extra stakes. Let me know if you have any questions about the layout or timing. The weather forecast looks decent so hopefully we can get everything done in one day.

I think we should go with the mystery novel for next month's discussion. It has generated a lot of conversation in the group so far. We can meet at my place on the 22nd around 7pm. I will put together a few discussion questions to get us started. Please let me know if you want to bring a snack or drink to share. I will send out a reminder midweek before the meeting. If the weather holds we can sit on the patio otherwise we will gather in the living room. The book has some interesting themes about community and trust that I think will lead to a good discussion.
Also I wanted to check if anyone has a preference for the next book after this one. I have a few suggestions that I can send around if people are interested. Let me know what you think and we can finalize the details later this week.
