The garden club meeting schedule worked well last Thursday. Everyone agreed the afternoon time slot lets folks attend after errands. We discussed the spring planting rotation and which plots need extra compost this season. Someone suggested moving the June session to the second week instead of the third. I think that would avoid the holiday overlap and give us more time to prepare the demonstration beds. Let me know if you want me to send the updated calendar to the membership list.

The caramelized onion tart recipe turned out well for the potluck. I used Gruyère instead of the Swiss you mentioned and it melted beautifully. The crust held together better after I chilled it for an extra twenty minutes before baking. Several people asked for the recipe so I sent them the link you shared with me. Next time I might add a touch of Dijon to the base for a little more depth. Thanks again for recommending it.
