Adults Living with HIV Needed for NIH Clinical Research Study
The National Institutes of Health is enrolling adults living with HIV who are on stable antiretroviral therapy (ART) for a clinical research study led by Chuen-Yen Lau, M.D.
This study aims to better understand how HIV persists in the body during treatment and how the virus reactivates when therapy is paused for a short period under close medical supervision.
Study includes:
- Physical exam and blood tests
- PET/CT imaging scans
- Lymph node sampling
- Weekly monitoring (for participants who temporarily pause ART)
Adults age 18 and older on stable ART may be eligible.
Compensation provided for each study activity; total may exceed $1,870. Additional details available.
