I finally got around to testing that color calibration tool you recommended. It made a massive difference compared to the standard monitor settings I was using. I edited a few photos from the trip and the prints actually matched what I saw on screen for the first time. Are you using the standard sRGB profile or something else for your workflow? I'd love to see your latest series if you've published it online. Also, I was looking at getting a new wide-angle lens for landscape shots. If you have any suggestions under a thousand, let me know. I'm aiming to upgrade before the summer season starts. I'm really excited to get back out there and practice more. The hobby has been a great creative outlet recently.

The jazz show last night was honestly incredible. The trio had such tight chemistry, especially during the second set when they played a reimagined version of Blue Train. The saxophonist had this vintage 60s sound that filled the entire room without being overwhelming. If the band decides to do another residency next spring, I'm definitely getting season passes. The venue itself was a small basement club with excellent acoustics. Let me know if you want to catch a show next week-there's a guitarist playing who I heard mixes flamenco with electronic loops. Could be really interesting or a complete disaster. We can grab dinner beforehand if you're free.
