Hi thanks for your note about the neighborhood cleanup schedule. I checked with the community center and they confirmed we can use the north parking lot on Saturday mornings from 8 to 11 throughout April. The city will provide bags and gloves we just need to bring our own grabbers if we have them. I think we should aim for the first three Saturdays and skip the fourth since that's the school spring fair. Also the center asked if we could collect the debris in one spot so their truck can do a single pass rather than multiple stops. Let me know if that works for your group or if you need to adjust the timing. I can send out a reminder to everyone by Wednesday.

Thanks for asking about the lasagna recipe I mentioned last week. It is really quite simple and I can send it over. Start with a good quality jar of marinara and mix in some sauteed mushrooms onions and bell peppers. For the cheese layer combine ricotta with a beaten egg some grated parmesan and a pinch of nutmeg. Use regular lasagna noodles no boil works fine just make sure they are fully covered by sauce. Layer sauce noodles cheese mixture and shredded mozzarella repeating three times. Bake at 375 covered with foil for 45 minutes then uncover and bake another 15 until bubbly. Let it rest at least 20 minutes before cutting so it holds together. I usually double the recipe for our family because the leftovers are even better the next day.
