Hi ala,
With four cars, a tiny garage, and a driveway squeezed between neighboring houses, our parking is part game and part strategic exercise. Every car has a designated spot based on who leaves when. If you're in the garage, you're leaving last. If you have an early morning, your car better be in the pole position.
With four adults in the house—including one who works second shift and another who's a working musician—designated spots change...a lot. Last weekend we did the full four-car switcheroo because my Mini was leaving early Sunday morning.
It reminded me that summer is road trip season.
Not every road trip requires a car (and a tank full of expensive gas). Some of the best journeys are ones that move your career or business forward.
This summer, you're invited to take a virtual road trip with us. Every week we'll share ideas, resources, and opportunities designed to help you get where you want to go as a speaker. (We'll even share our summer reading list and the summer podcast playlist.)
We'll take the scenic routes, explore exciting new destinations and maybe even suggest an occasional detour. (But only ones totally worth your time.) We'll make sure you're in the right position when that next speaking opportunity comes along.
So buckle up. Summer 2026 is officially Road Trip Summer. Your next stop could be your best speaking opportunity yet. Psst. I hear there will even be a stop at the world's largest ball of twine!
