I was just thinking about that hike we did last weekend. The weather was perfect and the trail wasn't too crowded for once. I'm glad we started early because by the time we were heading back the parking lot was completely full.

I've been meaning to ask you about that camera you were using - the shots you got of the waterfall were incredible. lVDUiOe20byK1 Did you have to adjust the settings manually or did the auto mode handle most of it? I've been looking into getting something better than my phone for outdoor trips.

I did some research and it seems like there are a few decent options that won't require a major investment. Anyway let me know if you're free next Saturday for another one. There's a trail I found that's supposed to have really good views of the valley and I'd love to test out some new gear.

I finally got around to organizing that bookshelf I've been putting off for months. It took way longer than I expected because I kept stopping to flip through old magazines and photo albums.

I found some really funny pictures from that trip we took years ago - I'll have to scan and send them to you. The shelf looks much better now though. I rearranged everything by color this time instead of by size. It sounds silly but it actually looks pretty cohesive.

I also cleared out a bunch of books I know I'll never read again. There's a little free library down the street so I dropped them off there. Hopefully someone else can enjoy them. It was actually pretty satisfying to finish the project. I might tackle the closet next weekend if I have the energy.
