Seating is limited and courses fill quickly, so I encourage you to review the class schedules and register today.

Fall classes begin the week of September 8, 2026, with convenient evening hours so you don't have to choose between work or training.
One section of our Electrical 1 class is entirely virtual, so you can attend from wherever you live and still benefit from a live, expert instructor.

Important Details:
Schedules:
Please see the online course description for class requirements and meeting schedules. Classes meet twice a week, once in person and once virtually (hybrid schedule) for the stated hours, unless otherwise noted. A laptop or tablet is highly recommended. Our virtual-only Electrical 1 course is live only during the dates and times specified for the class.
Textbooks:
Students must purchase a digital or print textbook with NCCERConnect code from the NCCER online bookstore. Edition information, ISBN numbers, and links will be provided in the student Welcome Letter. Electrical students must have their own copy of the NEC book currently approved for use in Virginia.

Important Dates:
- Registration closes at 5:00p.m. on 9/4/26.
- Classes start the week of 9/8/26.
Grades
- Grades/hours will be posted to the students’ profiles within 2 weeks of class completion. Grades will not be sent. Students can log in to their profile and access their own grades.
- Students with an active FERPA form on file may request that we share their grades with their sponsoring company. Please email appren@fcps.edu to complete a FERPA form if you wish to share your grades and hours.
