Robert Pattinson reveals why he hesitated when asked to join ‘The Odyssey'

By now everyone has heard of Christopher Nolan’s epic film “The Odyssey.” Landing in theaters on Friday, July 17, the new movie is being hailed as the summer’s biggest blockbuster, if not the cinematic event of the year.

Even so, Robert Pattinson, who plays Antinous, one of Penelope’s suitors, revealed during an interview with TODAY correspondent Kaylee Hartung that when Nolan first approached him to join the cast, he hesitated before signing on.

“My first thought always with a part is like, ‘I don’t know if I can do anything.’ But sometimes I get more scared if someone’s saying, just off the bat, ‘Do you want to do this thing?’” Pattinson said of his initial reaction. “My imposter syndrome kicks in very, very hard.”

Jennifer Garner says acting is a ‘very selfish' job but she won't apologize to her kids for working

Jennifer Garner has missed volleyball games, school pickups and chances to be “Lunch Mom.” But there’s one thing she won’t do because of it: apologize to her children for working.

In a new interview with InStyle, Garner, who shares Violet, 20, Fin, 17, and Samuel, 14, with ex-husband Ben Affleck, opened up about balancing a demanding acting career with motherhood.

“When I work, I don’t apologize to my kids for it,” Garner told the outlet. “I do thank them for being so sweet about it. But that’s part of life. Working hard is part of life, and messing up is part of life. Tripping and falling — there’s room for all of it.”
