Thanks for the note about the garden project. I think we should start with the raised beds along the south fence. The soil there drains well and gets good sun. I picked up some cedar boards last weekend. They are untreated so safe for vegetables. I also found a good source for compost. We can build frames next Saturday if you are free. I have all the tools. Let me know if you want to adjust the layout. I was thinking three beds 4x8 feet. That should give us plenty of space for tomatoes, peppers, and herbs. We could also add a small border of marigolds to deter pests. I'll bring the seeds and seedlings. Do you have a preference for soil mix? I like a blend of topsoil and organic matter. We can mix it on site. Also, we need to think about irrigation. A simple drip system would be efficient. I can pick up a kit. Let me know your thoughts on the design.
I am looking forward to working together. It will be a productive season. Let's aim to start by 9am and finish by early afternoon.

I looked into the hiking trail you mentioned. The moderate loop is about 5 miles with some elevation gain. Should be fine for a half day trip. I suggest we start early to avoid the afternoon heat. I can bring my portable stove for coffee. Let me know if you want to extend to the summit trail. That adds another 2 miles but the view is worth it. I checked recent reports - trail is dry and well marked. There is a nice picnic spot at the halfway point. I'll pack sandwiches. We can decide on the day depending on weather. Also, I need to know if you prefer a relaxed pace or faster. We can match. I am flexible. Let me know your schedule for next weekend. Saturday or Sunday both work for me. I will reserve the parking spot if needed. Looking forward to it.
One more thing: I have extra trekking poles if you need. Let me know.
