Lauren and Lorenzo Ortega, Lorier's founders, will keep creative stewardship of the brand, with Lorenzo staying on as Creative Director. What changes is the engine behind it: Lorier now has access to our infrastructure — customer service, fulfillment, procurement, logistics — so the Ortegas can focus on what they do best, and so we can finally scale to meet the demand this brand has earned.

There's a lot to say about why we did this, how we structured it (two independent companies, no outside investment, no strings), and who's leading it day to day. We put it all in a short film, which you can see below.

And this is just the start. One week from now, we're unveiling updated versions of some of Lorier's most beloved models — the Hyperion, Hydra, Falcon, and Astra. To mark the occasion, we're throwing a party — and we'd love to see you there.
