A new fiscal year of savings: Microsoft 365 Copilot for SMB

Microsoft has introduced new pricing for its SMB bundles that combine Microsoft 365 Business Standard and Business Premium with Copilot Business:

  • Microsoft 365 Business Standard with Copilot Business: USD $23.50/user/month
  • Microsoft 365 Business Premium with Copilot Business: USD $32.00/user/month
  • Simplified pricing makes AI adoption more affordable and predictable (annual commitment, billed annually).

Copilot Promotion Extended

The 15% discount on Microsoft 365 Copilot Business (SMB) is now extended through December 31, 2026. Additional promotions, including a new 3-year option for Microsoft 365 Copilot (Enterprise) and additional discounts, are detailed in the Global Promotions Readiness Guide.

Enhanced Copilot partner economics

Previous restrictions on eligible Microsoft Copilot offers have been removed, aligning them with the standard Microsoft 365 discount structure. This creates a more consistent, predictable commercial experience, making it easier for partners to position Copilot solutions across the Microsoft 365 portfolio.The following offers are eligible under the enhanced model:

  • Microsoft 365 Copilot (Commercial and GCC)
  • Microsoft 365 Copilot Business
  • Microsoft 365 Business Basic + Microsoft 365 Copilot Business
  • Microsoft 365 Business Standard + Microsoft 365 Copilot Business
  • Microsoft 365 Business Premium + Microsoft 365 Copilot Business

Retirement of SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business standalone plans

Microsoft is retiring standalone SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business plans, transitioning customers to Microsoft 365 suites. Partners should review upcoming renewals, identify the best Microsoft 365 Business or Enterprise plans, and use Extended Service Terms (ESTs) where needed to provide additional time for a smooth customer migration.

A new fiscal year of innovation: AI gets a new team leader with Microsoft 365 Copilot “Cowork”

Microsoft 365 Copilot Cowork is now generally available, adding model choice, plugin extensibility, and cost controls. Acting as an AI team leader, Cowork orchestrates multiple agents, applications, and data sources to automate complex, multi-step business workflows across Microsoft 365.

Note: Microsoft 365 Copilot Cowork requires a Microsoft 365 Copilot license as a prerequisite and Azure plan billing.
