Hey Andrew Niepodam,

There’s something I keep seeing right now…

Everyone is trying to stick AI on the front of their offer.

AI Email Marketing Agency.

AI Design Studio.

AI Lead Generation.

AI Content Agency.

AI this. AI that.

And honestly?

Most of the time, your customer does NOT care.

I think a lot of us who spend every day using Claude, ChatGPT, agents, automations, etc. forget that we live in a massive AI bubble.

We see new models.

New tools.

New workflows.

New breakthroughs every single day.

The average business owner doesn’t.

They’re not sitting there thinking:

“Damn, I really need an AI-powered email marketing agency.”

They’re thinking:

“I need my emails to make more money.”

They don’t want an AI design agency.

They want better creative, delivered faster.

They don’t want an AI content service.

They want good content without waiting two weeks for every revision.

AI should be the engine underneath your offer.

Not necessarily the thing you plaster all over the front of it.

Take a normal email marketing agency.

You might use AI internally to:

  • Research the customer faster
  • Write first drafts
  • Analyse performance
  • Generate angles
  • Personalise campaigns
  • Speed up revisions
  • Reduce fulfilment costs

Amazing.

That can make your service dramatically better.

Faster delivery.

Higher margins.

Better quality.

More capacity.

But the customer doesn’t need to know every tool sitting behind the curtain.

They care about the outcome.

Is it good?

Is it fast?

Does it make me money?

That’s it.

The opportunity with AI isn’t that every company needs to rebrand themselves as an “AI company.”

The opportunity is that existing businesses can suddenly operate with leverage they’ve never had before.

A 5-person agency can start producing like a 20-person agency.

A freelancer can deliver work that previously needed an entire team.

A service business can remove hours of manual work from fulfilment.

That’s where this gets interesting.

So before you rename your offer…

“AI-Powered [Insert Service Here]”

Ask yourself:

Does the customer actually value the AI?

Or do they value what the AI allows you to do for them?

Big difference.

Don’t sell the hammer.

Sell the house you can build with it.

Until next time,

Mike
