I’m so excited that our upcoming 12-week shamanic circle, The Heart of Shamanism, is starting tomorrow! I want to warmly welcome you into our circle.

We’re living in a chaotic time on Earth. With so much happening, it can be difficult to stay grounded and connected to nature — one of our greatest sources of healing, wisdom, and resilience.

Creating the kind of connection to nature that shamanic cultures maintained takes practice and commitment. 

Stress, trauma, the constant news cycle, and social media have all created challenges to experiencing the deep connections that allow us to work with helping spirits and the elements — Earth, Air, Fire, and Water.

We often yearn for what others have, but shamanism brings a magic and richness into our lives that cannot be replaced by anything material.

The practice helps lift us above the density of collective consciousness and allows us to experience the wisdom of the Earth and the elements that sustain all life.

Shamanic practices have existed for tens of thousands of years and have been found throughout the world. Wherever your ancestors came from, there’s a good chance they relied on practices that helped them not only survive but thrive.

It brings me great joy to share this Sacred Circle with you, where you’ll experience a diverse range of shamanic practices taught by me and 10 of the entrusted teachers I’ve had the privilege of training. I’ve been leading Teacher Trainings since 2003 and have been teaching shamanism internationally for nearly 50 years.

Over our 12 weeks together, you’ll learn from an extraordinary community of deeply experienced teachers, each bringing their own unique specialty and heartfelt passion for this work.

Their wisdom, authenticity, and enthusiasm are truly inspiring, and I know their love for shamanism will be contagious. My hope is that you’ll leave each session feeling more connected, rejuvenated, and spiritually resilient with practical tools to support both your own healing and the work you’re called to do in the world.

I could write pages about every one of the teachers. They’re all innovative and brilliant. I really can’t say enough about them! So I invite you to experience how profound their work is by learning from each of them in this Sacred Circle. 

Rather than simply telling you about them, I’d much rather introduce you to them through direct experience.

Helena Mazzariello and I will teach you different ways to connect you with nature. I’ll teach journeying in Session One for people who need that training. Helena has a unique and brilliant way for introducing you into the work of working with the natural world.

Fotoula Adrimi and Roel Crabbe will teach you how to bring healing practices in your life and work. They’re well known for their brilliant workshops in Europe, and Fotoula wrote two amazing books on her work. I love both of them and have taken their workshops myself!

Ash Miner will teach you the power of shamanic songs and how to call a song to you. Ash is a dynamic teacher and one who you will immediately relate to.

Gina Kearney and Chetna Lawless will teach sessions on flower essences and colors. Working with colors is one of Chetna’s real passions and her work is brilliant! Gina sent me this beautiful quote:

In a dream, I was shown that riding the energetic thread, the song of the flowers, within is a way to enter into a two-way communication with nature. That practicing with eyes closed — and living it with eyes open — is a way we open up to who we truly are, return to becoming stewards of the land, and quite literally end human suffering.

BJ Brown wrote a brilliant book on Death and Dying. She’ll share her extensive knowledge and compassionate work on dealing with grief and death as a rite of passage. This is such important work for our times, and BJ is the perfect teacher to work with to enter into this powerful topic.

Sylvia Edwards, my closest friend, is also a gifted teacher. She’ll help us break vows and inappropriate agreements that limit our vitality and block our spiritual growth. What profound work!

Christina Pratt is one of the most talented and articulate teachers I know. She’ll introduce multiple ways to transform the shadow and even bring in the archetype of Crazy Woman who will help you unfold the most direct paths to the gifts you don’t know you are hiding.

Karen Full is another one of my trusted teachers who will be teaching us how to connect with the descendants of Earth to partner with them to learn a new paradigm for living. I’m in love with her work. She puts in endless energy into sharing it and has an innate wisdom that will amaze you.
