Relocation of Certain Salem VA Medical Center Clinics During Renovations

Hello,

The Salem VA Medical Center will soon begin facility enhancements to portions of Building 143.

While these upgrades are made, certain Specialty Clinics, currently located in Building 143, will be relocated to Building 7 of the Salem VA Medical Center.

Below is a break-down of when the relocations will begin, and what clinics will temporarily move to Building 7:

--On August 3, 2026: Gastrointestinal (GI), Pulmonary, and Sleep Clinics, will relocate to the first floor of Building 7.

--On August 10, 2026: Cardiology, Rheumatology, Neurology, & Infectious Disease Clinics will relocate to the second floor of Building 7.

Note: The location of all other clinics at the Medical Center (those not mentioned above) remains the same.

Salem VA staff at the Medical Center Main Entrance, and across the facility, will provide assistance in directing Veterans, family members, and caregivers to the correct clinic locations.

Signage on clinic relocations will be posted throughout the Medical Center.

Valet parking services and wheelchairs for Veterans will continue to be available at the Medical Center Main Entrance.

Veterans seeking guidance or wheelchair assistance to Building 7 should use the Medical Center Main Entrance.
