July 30, 2026. An honest update.
Hey family,
First off, I have no words to express the gratitude I feel, and I won't even try, for the amount of support, love, and patience you've shown me during what I can only describe as 30 days of complete war.
A war with technology, with all the systems, with countless emails I no longer need, and with an infrastructure built in a moment to hold and sustain something. Thankfully, today, that something has become a creation I'm proud to share, and I'm blessed to read the daily messages about how it has changed your life.
With that said, this year brought tremendous changes, and I did my very best to adjust the structure to the new container Saturno was, and is still becoming.
It failed, mainly for two reasons.
One.
I wanted it to.
Not the way it happened. Not at your expense. But I wanted the old structure to end.
I had known for a while that it needed to. I just wasn't willing to take it apart with my own hands while it was still standing and still serving people. So a part of me was waiting for something to make that decision for me.
Despite the love I have for everything we've built, and the fact that we received absolutely no complaints about the product or the service we deliver, it was a system that Yassir and I realized, about a year ago on a call before a storm that I'll share at the right time, would not be able to sustain the physics and economics of what we could carry as human beings.
In simple terms: the business would eventually fail because the speed of production, while maintaining the quality we needed across both social media and our paid services, was not sustainable. At least not without sacrificing more than any human should.
I say that as someone who takes pride in having an extreme capacity to endure things. But also as someone who sees the world through the eyes of a coach, and knows that capacity is both my strongest asset and my most obvious pitfall: as an athlete, a founder, and a leader.
If you ask anyone who knows me what Gabo needs right now, they'll say one thing: sleep. To walk on the beach without trying to figure out my next move. To teach the basics. To answer one thing at a time. To slow down, because life only happens once. And I am equipped to teach that precisely because it does not come easily to me.
Working through that problem is what has allowed me to send this email to more people than I can fully imagine. And for that, I thank you for letting me do it.
Two.
This year, I battled between what to maintain, what to change, what to eliminate completely, and what to wait on because it might still be useful. Not because I don't know how to prioritize, but because the field I entered was bigger than my ability to see it.
No matter my capacity or the external conditions, I should have been able to reorganize what needed reorganizing. That was my biggest mistake this year, and it still is.
The difference now is that the chaos has done its work. It had done its work a while ago. I just realized it slightly later.
But that's okay. It's something I'm grateful for.
Beyond maintaining a business, my mission is simple: to make everything in my hands serve those around me. Every action I can take, every word I can say, and how I say it.
Members, strangers, friends, family, enemies, and the ones I still see as friends. Even the ones who watched a video of me in the days before this email was sent.
For that, the infrastructure and the systems must change. And they are changing.
This will allow me, and every member who becomes part of the SM team, to deliver the same or a much better experience at a rate that satisfies the needs of my audience and my students, while protecting my values and my energy as a human being.
That way, I can show up for you, for my team, and for my family.
Ultimately, the app means nothing if the person it's blessed enough to put on your screen can't show up better every day.
Back to being an entrepreneur and keeping the emails short so they don't go to spam.
Here's where we are right now.
The web version of the Saturno Movement Academy has most of the videos restored.
I thought it was going to be 80%, but I checked right before writing this, and unfortunately, I was wrong. So I will not put a number in front of you that could change to 100% in one minute, or collapse to 10% in one hour.
Here is what's true: the structure is up. Some videos play. Many don't yet. The restoration is still running underneath it, and it moves every day.
What is left needs me specifically. Sitting down at the computer and making sure the private videos for paying members are properly gated, and that I haven't accidentally placed a Yoga foundation video into the mobility section, because they are both named “Pancake Follow Along.”
And yes, Claude did ask me why there was food language in a mobility section.
It requires Gabo.
And I'll say it plainly: I doubt that finishes today.
Because I'm being trained again, by myself and by all of you, not to chase “perfect” at the expense of something that can last at least a day without Gabo.
That's not me resting. Not yet.
It means other things have to be handled first, so the steps after this one have a stable route I can come back to.
So here's what I did about it.
I'm not willing to let your training stop while I finish.
I made a fallback library with every video from the website, the app, and previous versions. All the programs and more, along with all the PDFs and all the logic.
It is, quite literally, the entire Saturno Movement training library in one place.
I was about to send the link and password to everybody here. But this email is going to many people who are not current members, and giving everyone access to all of it would not be fair to the members who are paying for it.
So I'm sending a separate email with the link and password to the current members in the database.
However, that list might not include all of you.
If you are a current member and do not receive that second email, please reply to this message or write me at gabo@saturnomovement.com, and I'll make sure to send you the link.
And for everyone else
